Operation Flags for Veterans

The Military Coordinating Committee of Rotary District 5340 is proud to sponsor “Operation Flags for Vets” on Memorial Day weekend.
Volunteers will place 23,000 American Flags on gravesites to honor the military men and women, and their families, lying at rest at Miramar National Cemetery. This project is 100% funded by donations. Follow the link or scan the QR code to volunteer. If you are bringing a group, be sure to let us know how many in your group.. Part A.
We will place flags on Saturday, May 23rd. Volunteers arrive at 12:00 PM. I recommend bringing work gloves, a screwdriver to poke holes in the ground, and sun protection. It should take about 2 hours.
Part B.
We will retrieve the flags on Tuesday, May 26th — volunteers arrive at 3:00?PM. It should take about 2 hours.
