The Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF) helps families navigate their child's journey with cancer. We assure that no child misses their cancer treatment due to lack of transportation. ENF programs include: ENF Family Resource Center Our team offers multilingual, wrap-around services to families of children receiving medical treatment. Our comprehensive support includes access to shelter, food, mental health services, employment, childcare, and more. Additionally, we provide bedside assistance when a child is in the hospital, ensuring families have the resources and support they need during challenging times. Ride With Emilio We provide no-cost transportation for families seeking medical treatment for life-threatening conditions. We offer dependable and secure support, ensuring that no child misses life-saving treatments due to transportation barriers. ​​​​​​​ Creating for Hope We offer one-on-one and group knitting and crocheting sessions for parents, guardians, and children at the hospital, offering a supportive therapeutic outlet. These sessions help build community, offer peer support, and decrease isolation, all while supporting mental health. ​​​​​​​ Emilio's Snack Bags We address food insecurity by providing free, hospital-approved snack bags to children in oncology units who have been fasting for chemotherapy. Each snack bag is thoughtfully planned and approved in collaboration with the hospital's nutritionist, ensuring that children receive the vital nutrients and support they need during their treatment. Healing Through Nature We offer outdoor activities for families with children in recent cancer remission, where the healing power of nature helps to boost emotional and physical strength. This experience fosters a supportive End of Life Services There are no words to capture the heartache of a family facing the loss of a child. We offer financial support to help with burial expenses, offer emotional guidance, and protect families from predatory practices, ensuring they aren’t alone during this difficult time.
